Spicy cassia cinnamon balances with the sultry flavors of whole vanilla beans to add an unmistakable pastry essence to the caramel and toffee notes of our classic English style barleywine. This latest version of Maestro was first matured in Portlands Westward Whiskey barrels to add notes of oak and bourbon while mellowing the alcohol warmth of this 13% behemoth. Working with local Eugene purveyors, Mountain Rose Herbs for cinnamon and Singing Dog for vanilla, we were able to bring the cinnamon roll vision to life.
